Jimmy has always known how to push himself.
A former college track athlete who competed in the 1976 Olympic Trials, Jimmy spent much of his life relying on determination to carry him through. But after years of surgeries, serious health challenges, and profound loss, he found himself spending most of his days in a wheelchair and wondering what independence could still look like.
In this episode of The Bold Way Home, Jimmy shares his story in his own words, reflecting on resilience, grief, the small victories that can change a day, and the support that has helped him believe in what might still be possible.
This is Jimmy’s story.
